Tahmaseb-McConatha, Jasmin

Jasmin Tahmaseb McConatha is a professor of Psychology at West Chester University  with a developmental and cultural orientation. For 15 years she has conducted research and taught courses on culture, aging, and well-being. This work has resulted in dozens of published papers, chapters, and a book. She has also devoted her time and energy advocating for the rights of older men and women from diverse backgrounds and fighting against ageist practices and policies.  Walking and exercising in “Third Spaces” have helped her cope with the stresses and transitions of life.


She is a co-editor of two book series with Meyer & Meyer Sports: “Healthy Aging and Fitness“ and “Sport, Culture and Society.”
