Tour de France Champion comes from Down Under
The time trial specialist Cadel Evans is the winner of this year's Tour de France. He conquered the yellow jersey almost on the last meters of the Tour.
For a long time it seemed as if the brothers Andy and Fränk Schleck would win the Tour de France 2011 for Luxembourg. In the final time trial, however, the Australians Cadel Evans demonstrated his talent and won the Tour with a lead of 1:34 min.
The green jersey for the fastest sprinter went to Britain's Mark Cavendish. King of the Mountains is Spain's Samuel Sanchez.
