Gruenfeld, Lee

Lee Gruenfeld was a partner in the internatinal consulting firm Deloitte before chucking it all to become a full time writer. Since then he has written thirteen books, including novels, non-fiction, and biographies, that have been published in a dozen countries and translated into eight languages. In addition to his "Through the Eyes of Lee Gruenfeld" column for Ironman.com, he has written feature pieces about triathlon for Competitor and Inside Triathlon magazines. He lives in Palm Springs, California, with his wife and many-time Ironman world championship age group winner Cherie Gruenfeld, author of the Book Become an Ironman (Meyer & meyer, 2008). He has never done an Ironman, never will, and believes that anyone who does should be committed to an asylum.
