How do I pay my order?

For orders directed to places outside of Germany, the only possible payment method is by credit card. Of course we guarantee that credit card data will be used exclusively for the payment of your respective order and will be protected from access by third parties.
Furthermore, we offer subscription re-signing through our website including a secure data transfer.

I don't want to place my order through the web shop. Is there any other way?

Of course! If you don't want to use the web shop, you can send us your order by e-mail (sales[at]m-m-sports.com), phone (+49 [0]241 / 9 58 10 13). Your order will be processed just as fast.

What do you charge for delivery?

Our delivery costs are determined by both the destination of the delivery and the order value. Orders below a total of € 9,- will be handled with a lowered delivery fee.
Within Germany: € 3,- up to an order value of € 30,-, beyond that free of charge
Within Europe: € 5,- up to an order value of € 60,-, beyond that free of charge
Outside Europe: € 7,- up to an order value of € 100,-, beyond that free of charge

Can I return my order if I don't like the books I purchased?

Starting with receiving your goods, you can return them within 14 days without giving any reason. Nevertheless, please be aware that we can't credit you for the entire purchase price if the books are damaged.

How do I cancel my subscription?

To cancel a subscription, just send us a short written cancelation notice. Please remember to state which journal you are subscribed to. If possible, please state your subscription number. You will find the number either on your invoice or on the address label of one of your copies.
When ordering a subscription, the duration will be limited to one year. If you do not want the subscription to expire, you can re-sign for another year through our webshop.

What do I need to be able to read and use an e-book?

All you need is your computer! You will execute, manage and read mediaTresor e-books using the mediaReader, which is available on our web site. It can also be used to open and manage PDF files. An e-book reader like Kindle or Nook is not needed to be able to use the e-books.

What is an e-book?

E-books are electronic or digital books. When ordering, you will receive a license code to access your very own copy; you won't receive any shipment from our side. At our site, you will mainly find e-books presented in the mediaTresor file format. This format allows us to sell e-books safely with regard to online piracy without taking away any rights or liberties from our customers.

How can I open my e-books on another computer?

In order to open your e-books on a computer different to the one you initially installed it onto, you will have to liberate your license. To do so, enter the “?” menu of the menu bar and choose “move license”. This will allow you to use the license on another computer. Install and run the mediaReader on the computer you wish to use the e-book on and proceed just like the first time you installed the book.

I bought a mediaTresor e-book. How can I start reading now?

After finishing the order process, you received an e-mail containing your license code as well as other information regarding your e-book. If this is the first mediaTresor e-book you bought, the next step is to download and install the mediaReader. A download link is featured within the same e-mail; make sure you choose the right installation file for your operating system.
With mediaReader installed, run the program. Open “Extras” from the menu bar and select “import books”, which will open up a window including a form. Enter the e-mail address you used to purchase the book and click the button “Get list”. You will now receive a list of the books you purchased that are available for import. Double-clicking one of the list entries will initiate the import process. First, you will need to enter the license key you received within the initial e-mail. Afterwards, the mediaReader will download and install the e-book automatically. This may take a few moments, depending on your internet connection. After finishing the download and installation process, the book will be accessible with or without internet connection. You can open it using, the menu “My E-Books” or the library, which can be found within the menu “Extras”.

I bought an e-book by mistake. Can I exchange it for a printed copy or get my money back?

As long as you didn't activate the license you received, we are able to void this license in order to make sure you won't be able to use it. If the license has been activated, though, we don't have any way of ensuring the license won't be used, so we are sadly unable to exchange the book.

Why can't I use my license on multiple computers at a time?

We like to see the license as a parallel to a printed book. You can take it wherever you want, but it can only be read by one person at a time. You can lend it to a friend, but as long as you don't get it back, you won't be able to read it. This is why we think the licensing system is a fair adaptation.
